ABOUT US
07-08.03.2023
SPORTBIZ SUMMIT is a comprehensive event where we will set the trends in the sports industry for the upcoming decades! With more than 20 years of experience and tradition, we combine the past and the present to forecast the future directions of sport! We promote state-of-the-art technology, but also innovation and creative thinking to increase the competitive edge of Polish sport. Experts from across Europe will talk about successful solutions that have helped them improve their clubs and organisations. In addition, for the first time ever, SPORTBIZ will have two organisers: the agency Publicon Sport - the only marketing and sponsoring partner of the Polish Football Association - has joined Sportwin with completely new quality and ideas!
POTENTIAL OF POLISH SPORT
In recent years, Polish athletes have achieved many successes. Robert Lewandowski climbed to the top of the football world, winning almost everything there was to win. Iga Świątek dominated women's tennis by winning the US Open and Roland Garros twice. Polish volleyball players are regularly on the podium of the volleyball World Championships and the Plus Liga is one of the two best volleyball leagues in the world.
Despite the many individual and team successes, there is still plenty of room for development in Poland. Technology and infrastructure are not yet world-class in our country. During the SPORTBIZ SUMMIT, industry experts from across Europe will present the latest trends in the world of sport and business to modernise Polish sport.

NFT in sports – a short-term trend or a real chance for long-term profits?
11:00-11:30
Maciej Kosuń, Investment Manager, THC Pathfinder
NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are blockchain-based digital units of data that can be traded, thanks to their real value. They represent works of art, but also real estate, music and sports. Is this just the result of a temporary romance between sports and technology, or an opportunity to increase future benefits?
11:30-12:15
Coffee break
Metaverse without secrets - how to find a space for a sports organization in a virtual world?
12:15-12:45
Fabio Morelli, Digital Marketing Manager, Accenture
The metaverse is the Internet seen as an imaginary area without borders where people can meet in virtual reality. This is only a basic definition, because the metaverse itself offers a great deal of possibilities for all its participants. Is there a place for sports organizations in this world?
12:45-13:15
Designing hospitality packages - how to improve the quality of VIP service and increase revenue of a sports organisation?
Samin Macdonald, Project Director, Legends International
Every major club has already encountered this concept, and most of them already employ a manager responsible for hospitality at the stadium. What should impeccable service of the most important guests at matches consist of, and at the same time increase the revenue of the organizer?
Ticketing has come a long way from paper tickets to buying them on mobile and even facial recognition at stadium gates. But what are the most effective ways to attract fans to stadiums, and can ticketing help or hinder that?
Lunch break
13:45-15:00
15:00-15:30
The whole club in one app - how new technologies support the management of sports organisations?
Mobile applications, thanks to their ease of use, as well as the ubiquity of smartphones, can greatly simplify and improve the management of a club and sports organization. Which apps are already a permanent part of the club's operation, and which solutions are worth investing in?
15:30-16:00
Eintracht Frankfurt: A case study of one of Europe's most digital sports organizations.
Timm Jäger, CEO EintrachtTech, Eintracht Frankfurt
In Germany, it's easy to identify football dominators. How did a club like Eintracht decide to chase Bayern and Borussia? Where to look for advantages when financial resources are limited? The answer to these questions is technology.
Sports competitions, interviews with athletes, behind-the-scenes footage - high quality of these live events is crucial to impress both fans and sponsors. How to achieve these goals, with a fixed budget and maximizing revenue? LiveU experts, already trusted by Premier League, NFL, FIBA, FIVB, but also Championship clubs, will answer this question.
Technology is beginning to play an increasingly important role in sponsorship projects, but can it support companies in making optimal sponsorship decisions? How do you select partners to maximize image and commercial effects?
Web 3.0, the social responsibility of sports, new ways for fans to consume sports content - all of these affect the sponsorship market. How will sponsorship change in the coming years, what should sponsors expect and what should sponsorship rights owners be prepared for?
11:30-12:15
Coffee break
ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is much more than CSR - it is a strategic approach by companies to their impact on the environment. How can sponsors impact the environment and society with sustainability?
Using brand partnerships and the power of sport to affect social change and attract new audiences.
12:45-13:15
Sponsorship is not just about creating an image or enhancing sales efforts - it is increasingly about influencing the environment and nurturing positive role models. How can companies use sponsorship to create long-term change and interest in sports?
Companies associated with blockchain technology are increasingly bold in entering sponsorship projects - the high volatility in this market means that these projects can end differently. Is blockchain a revolution in the market, or just a seasonal curiosity?
Lunch break
13:45-15:00
Sponsorship is one of the most effective marketing tools, and the goal of marketing is to enhance sales efforts. How to conduct projects that will not only help create an image, but also measurably increase product sales?
New media, new technologies, new ways of consuming sports - how to measure the effectiveness of sponsorship in such rapidly changing circumstances?
Sportwashing is the use of the potential of sports to improve the image - of individuals, companies and even countries. Will sportswashing dominate sponsorship in the coming years?

13:15-13:45
Regional sporting ambassadors - influence of athletes on promotion and popularisation of cities.
Local projects, like global ones, often need a recognizable face to represent the initiative. Does and how does using the image of a professional athlete help promote a region, and if so, who should you choose for such a function?
